Lincoln Early Childhood Development Center
Lincoln Early Childhood Center is a driving force for a high standard in early childhood education, not just the trend, but a very stable, consistent and research based approach, that will promote learners to be engaged and take healthy risks for higher learning. This is a public school with a private school feel. We endeavor to know every child by his/her first name and building trust with our students and families is a top priority. Our learners are greeted in the drive thru each morning by our staff, walking them to the sidewalk, for a great entrance to their day. Daily exit consists of children being walked to his/her car with a matching visor tag to a tag on the child’s backpack, that includes the teacher symbol and child’s number. Our staff goes above and beyond to create a safe and structured environment for learning.
Part of our mission is working with our families and our community to help each child develop quality in their character and be prepared for life, along with a preparation for the 21st century workforce. We have Tiger Task goals that each child has the opportunity to apply for, with the parent’s assistance, and receive a letter of acknowledgement and what job he/she will take part in on a rotating basis. We have three main goals for our students: being present and on time daily, learning to be in charge of ourselves, with consideration for others, and learning to read as a powerful tool.
We are a Leader In Me campus and believe that each learner can be a leader!
